Wow! Curtis! Why have you been "holding out on us"? :D You have all this experience, knowledge and know-how and you didn't share it with us until now! (Actually that's a good thing for all of us. If you posted it "over there" it probably would have been deleted!).

Everything you say makes sense and I appreciate what you've said and how you've explained it to us. Yesterday I never heard of Speedliner and today I'm ready to buy it (well, not exactly since I have a Bedrug but I would if I wanted a spray-in liner).

Thanks for sharing your info with us!

Curtis, that was very informative. I really think Speedliner is the way for me to go. I found an installer only 2 hours away from me. Drop it off and pick it up the next day probably. Its about double the price of the bedrug, but will last longer. I have to find the price for German installers. We get this installed, we can opt out of them painting the siderails and topcaps right? I want to install a Bakflip and dont want the liner interfering with the installation. And i would probably get a nice red or white SVT logo sprayed to the back of the cab.

Dan,

I cannot take credit for this one this is a review I found on another forum:) when I was trying to research the Speedliner and lots of what he said made sense so I thought I would share for all to form thier own opinion, just another option to look at. While I have been bending wrenches since I was old enough to hold them and done some painting in my time never had any experience with spraying liners but seems like some of the same principles apply. Like I said another option for the masses.

Curtis

Nacho, I am sure it is your call what they spray as for the Logo I am sure that would depend on the capabilities of the installer. One thing I found in all the years I spent in Germany is when they do something they do it right. I plan on doing the same thing you are going to do with the Backflip cover you should be good just letting them know what to spray. Apologize if I gave the perception that I did this was not the intent.

Thanks. Even if it wasn't you, you brought the information to us. Very useful info. I have been looking up and researching this since this thread was posted up. So i'm still taking my own research into consideration. I'm going to put the Bakflip on first and then have them spray where it wont get in the way. And you are right about the germans, they do it right. Customer satisfaction.

* found the price,
Our average price for a new pickup truck (DoubleCab) is about € 500.00 plus VAT including all work.

Depending on the value of the dollar/euro, it should be around 680 USD . PLUS 19% VAT (which is 95 Euro added to the 500 Euro) Brings the total up to 810 USD Roughly. Thankfully I can get a VAT form from the military and it will exclude the 19%.

Hey Curtis, is that you saying you've come up with a way to put a logo in the bedliner or is that from the other source? I would love to have SVT across the front wall of the bed.

I'm going with a BedRug (already in a box in the garage) as my knees can't take a hard surface <insert violin image here> LOL.
