$2800 for a Retrax Pro MX?

On my 2nd gen I used a Tyger tri-fold from Amazon. For the price it really can’t be beaten. Sadly it went when I sold the truck but I’ll be ordering a new one today for my 24’

My last truck had a RetraxPRO MX, just got another one for my new truck, highly recommend.

So I did just the opposite of my norm. I usually buy the top of the line ie most costly product and go with it. I figure then I won’t be disappointed. On the new gen 3 Raptor I tried the Oedro trifold hard cover for the bed. It was on black Friday sale for $399 shipped. My last few pick up covers were all over $1000. So I took a chance and at least initially think it’s a great deal. Solid, easy on and off , and good rain/water gaskets. I think normal price is in the $560 range and even then it seems a steal to me. No more bakflip $1000 plus pickup bed cover products. lol. The bakflip might be slightly lower profile and fold down a bit tighter but not 2-3 times better for the cost.

letting you all know if you are looking. Doubt you will be disappointed.

There are 3 main types of bed covers to consider and each have their pros and cons:

Retractable - Aluminum construction. Most durable and secure without blocking the rear window. Does lose bed space with the canister in the front of the bed.

Folding- Does not lose any bed space, but it does block the back window when all the way open.

Rolling- Does not lose any bed space, but is more prone to damage due to it being a soft vinyl exterior with a hard slat interior construction.



For the above we recommend the Retrax Pro MX (Personally use)
