I have the Bakflip MX4, and have been pretty happy with it.

Same here...really like my Bakflip MX4. Had a Revolver X2 on my previous truck and liked it. Only downside is it has to be fully open or fully closed, which isn’t the case with the MX4.

I have the retrax pro mx - probably the best looking cover IMO. The nice thing is that you can have it set to any position and lock it, meaning it isn't either open or closed it can be anywhere in between. It can be helpful if you want to wedge something between the cover and the tailgate. Also, I weigh 225lbs and I can walk on it. It is fairly water tight as well. If you regularly haul longer loads, the canister may be a bummer for you though.

I couldn't bring myself to spend $1000+ on a hard tonneau cover when I have mine off frequently anyway to haul motorcycles. Also didn't like how most of the hard ones required drain lines to be installed either. Bought the premium Ford soft one and have been happy so far. No water leaks so far and it looks good.

My 2 cents. Just got my diamondback se and it is absolutely awesome! Looks tough, super well made, durable, and functional. Expensive though. Well worth it to me.

I have the Bakflip MX4 and a Bed Rug bed mat. It's like a car trunk now when it is closed. No water, dust, etc. gets in. I'm very happy with it so far.

I have the Bakflip F1 (composite version of MX4) and a Bed Rug Mat. The truck has the spray in liner from Ford, so I opted for the Bed Rug Mat vs the full Bed Rug. I agree that it turns the bed into a large trunk.

If I need to carry dirt or landscape items, etc. I can remove the BR Mat and replace it when I am done. (not very often)
