GEN 1 beadlocks

I like the gen1 beadlock wheels but he online prices seem extraordinarily. From $550+ each. And some want core wheels at the refurb places. Do these wheels really fetch these prices?

That’s insane. Last set (4 or 5) I saw here was $1400 but I couldn’t get to CA to pick em up.

Picked up a set on the forum here for $1000. Found another set on eBay about 18 months ago for about $900. $550 sounds more like dealer retail. Insane.

I looked before and it was hit or miss. From 600-2000. I found and picked up a set for 600 in Vegas including swapping spares so all 5 matches. Tires still had some life in them which was cool. It took a few months, but they come up every now and then.

Keep looking - I have 6 Rims and 10 true bead lock rings but I had been looking for a long time for the right pricing. They are getting harder to find but every now and then they turn up. What will be a problem are the true bead lock rings. I payed a fortune for the last 4 I found.

Factory beadlocks are expensive!!! I went to the dealership for the 2017-2018 version
With beauty ring, they quoted me $1,367 per wheel. Insane! Managed to scoop one off on ebay with minor barrel cosmetic damage from tire dismounting for $375. Since I'm using mine as a 2nd spare (6th wheel) it didnt bother me that it wasnt perfect.
