I dropped the beadlock capable wheels in order to get scheduled after waiting 5 months from the time I ordered. Got too frustrated with lack of info and the constant uncertainty as to what the next material shortage would be that may further delay my order the longer I waited (having gone through the carbon fiber debacle prior to the beadlock). Instead I have ordered the 2013-14 Raptor forged aluminum beadlock capable wheels from Ford Performance and will have dealer swap out the stocks upon trucks arrival (I may sell the stock wheels on eBay or something). I will powder coat the beauty ring and the beadlock ring to roughly match the grey color of fender/bumpers. I kind of dig the older wheels above the new beadlocks anyway.

My order is also in a holding pattern due to the beadlocks. I'm not dropping them and my dealer is cool with that. He said his Ford rep told him March or April 2017 until they are available again, but that was just a guess.

Damn. Glad mine got built when it did (12/20). Mine is in route with the bead locks now.

I'm still baffled as to how they all the sudden run out of wheels, and have no idea when they will have them again? There are just too Manny issues with this product roll out... I wonder who at Ford is getting fired over this roll out?

My bead-locks are scheduled to be built the week of Feb. 6th. I'm thinking the bead-locks aren't as scarce as the CF package.

Same exact boat. Not only was there no information or guarantee you would ever get what you ordered, I kept thinking another order the dealer had place would jump mine, thus counting to the dealers allocations. Now I have no idea if allocations will be an issue but just could imagine getting contacted in a few months with good news all materials are available, bad news we have no more allocations.

I dropped mine and carbon fiber last week. It was drop them or wait a couple months more. I have a set of 13/14 beadlocks already taking up space. Going to do the same thing with the silver ring, going to powdercoat it dark grey.

The other two orders at my dealer are not budging on the beadlocks and are going to wait. Dealer said I should get a late feb build date this week hopefully, I will belive it when I see it. The product shortages this early in the production cycle are ********. They had three years to get this right. Spending over 60k should not include dropping multiple options, rant over. Everyone have a good week.

I'm inclined to wait. May change my mind if I find aftermarket wheels I really love. I think its ridiculous that I'm ordering Ford's signature off-road truck, but can't get their signature off-road wheels. How long can it possibly be? How many hundreds/thousands of wheels could a proper production facility kick out in a week?

Like the retrofits and CF, its the lack of communication from Ford that ****** me off. Fine, they underestimated demand, had an issue with the manufacturer, whatever, etc. Would be really helpful to know if its 4 weeks vs. 4 months. Some useful bit of information from Ford to help me make an informed decision.

Ordered 10/8.
Told in November that CF would delay build.
Never heard from dealer about any bead lock delays.
Built 1/06 with bead locks and CF.

I placed my order back in Aug and after reading through this thread I see why I have not received an update (not even a VIN or build date). I really like the wheels, and I am going to hold off and wait. I am in no rush.
