My truck was built this week with beadlocks and cf and is on its way. The beadlock delay is true and not a rumor ( verified by someone a lot higher up at corporate than the media girls) but they are still building them...just more slowly than orders with standard wheels. Now the long wait for transit from dearborn to florida!

Technically, she didn't say when she saw those orders. lol

I got the beadlock call from my dealer today. I told them to leave the order alone for now - we'll see what happens.

I got the call last Friday to remove Bead locks. I removed them and got the call today with a VIN.

So the order I picked up has beadlocks and will be built tomorrow (2/13).

The order I placed had beadlocks but I was told I had to drop them and did and will be built Friday (2/17).

Kinda funny how it worked out. I guess they way underestimated demand or something.

All my dealer has received so far have been the beadlocks. 2 trucks out of 7 allocations have shown up, and those arrived before a few of the remaining that just had the standard cast wheels. A regional constraint is a good theory. Forged wheels are available. Just depends where it seems.

I don't understand how the "constraint" could be regional? All the trucks are manufactured in Dearborn, if there was a shortage, it would be at the one factory where they make the truck. Are they literally saying that people in certain geographic regions are not worthy of having beadlocks on their builds?

I don't understand it either, except that different dealers have different influence on what Dearborn delivers out, and in different spots of the country, even modest dealers (like my own) are getting a stream of nothing but forged wheels, even ahead of the non-forged wheels that are on order at the same dealership. rohardi, I'm not saying I understand it, not at all. But the beadlocks are definitely being produced and delivered, in some cases well ahead of the standard cast wheels. At least in my region.

I'm having the same issue. Which aftermarket rims are you guys looking at as a replacement for the bead lock?

There are plenty of aftermarket forged wheels, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find bead lock rims. I know the nice thing with the OEM is they're street legal and can go either way, but there's gotta be alternatives. Aren't the OEM wheels made in China like the bead lock plates?

There was a post on the Facebook group today where someone stated that their dealer received a bulletin stating that Beadlocks were no longer on constraint. Can anyone confirm and collaborate that info?
