I thought in order processing was the same as unscheduled clean. Right when the staff changed at FB their answers changed from nothing yet... to in order proc. That was Feb 3. Figured they were just blowing smoke but next day dealer says filling out my order info. Then following Friday I get my vin. So hope it is a step fwd.
It is the same, for all purposes worth discussing. The folks on Ford Service Facebook, fordvehicles.com CHAT, and the Customer Relations Center, they're all essentially the same. I've communicated with them all, way more than I'm comfortable in saying......but they all have the same script. Unscheduled clean and order processing are the same. As evidenced by the transcript provided by hamster, these people do not elaborate--I have the exact experience with them, all. They don't avoid elaborating for increased efficiency; they don't elaborate because it's always advised to keep the script short and concise when one doesn't have a clue. Not trying to demerit them for their skills, they are just not given the most factual and up-to-date of information. Garbage in, garbage out.
