Really, wow Cobber that's great to hear!!
Yeah I almost didn't post like I would jinx myself. Got a vin but no build date. Dealer had emailed last Friday saying submitting paperwork for my order. Checked thru messenger yesterday and nothing. Dealer emails my Vin today but with no eta. Optimistically cautious right now. My guess remaining 3 allocations have BL. Mine was the odd one with only the CF. Cross fingers for both our orders.

Thanks, yeah I'll be holding my breath for you as well. If I don't get scheduled by the end of next week, I plan on cancelling the *&%^#@! forged wheels. I know this has been a huge controversy, as there is mixed information, but it is painfully obvious to me there is an issue with these magical wheels. I do prefer the forged wheels, but not if it means waiting until May or June. No way. If this was a Ferrari order, all would still be reasonable. But this is a bloody Ford pickup.

There is no 'in between' unscheduled clean and scheduled with a vin. Unfortunately order processing is the same as unscheduled clean in my estimation.

As I mentioned elsewhere, there is a confirmed (with an executive source at ford corporate) shortage on the beadlock wheels...they aren't out of them, but they are in limited supply and orders with those options are in fact being delayed but slowly filled. I ordered 8-16 ironically like others in this thread... actually added beadlocks AND CF in december, was built last week and is on the convoy headed to FL. There's a lot of speculation and misinformation out there - dealers aren't aware of the situation and speak as if they are..but that's the deal. Limited supply but still being built. Stay patient my friends..

The fact that someone on eBay has 300 sets of the wheels means someone at Ford responsible for supplier contracts should be fired. Blows my mind how bad you have to be at business to have your halo truck delayed because of a supply chain issue on something as basic as a wheel.

Actually as a result of this forum posting about the eBay guy, corporate has become aware. Trust they are looking to resolve that situation. My gut tells me get em while you can if you're considering eBay. Hard to say where they are being sourced from.. I work for a company that manufactures products in china and distributes in the US and in businesses like mine it's fairly common to hear of Chinese suppliers playing games. We have a team of 12 over in china just to ensure the supply chain is tight. I'm sure ford does too, but on the massive scale they do business, there are chances for leaks all along the way on any number of parts across their vehicle line.
