here, on frf
regular maintenance. checking tire pressure more frequently. and having to re torque the beadlocks every 500 miles or so. also, you can not air up as much with beadlocks. the ford oem beadlocks say 44 psi maximum, so you would want to run them lower. the pressure on the tire, and what is set when my dealer checks them, is 46. max for the tire is 50. so not enough air pressure could result in more tire wear, but mechanically if they are maintained properly, should not be a problem.

Ok, thanks for the info. So it require a propper maintenance. I will thighten with blue threadlock locktide those beatlocks bolts. I m thinking to use 37" general grabber on those rims.

Will beatlocks affect my payload capacity too?

If you have questions dont run beadlocks.
Noone cares about the law, its either im gonna use them type of deal or im gonna be a poser running these.

Point is they are cAlled beadlocks not beatlocks.

Busa doesnt seem to know mich about this either!!!
500 miles? Lol no.... I check mine before and after any time i go off roading.

I have heard way too many horror stories so ignore checking the tq on mine.

So ya sounds about right once a week jack er up, deflate, retorque 26 bolts on each wheel.

If you cant do that then run poser simulated beads.

All depends how you use them. Some locktite and go 1-2 years without re tqing and they are fine cause they use em lightly

It's a ton of wear if you are hard on the brakes.

They should be check EVERY time you go out and when you get back. It only takes one loose one to start the cycle. The cops and CHP don't really look at your wheels. I mean how many actually know the difference between Methods Double Standard and Methods Beadlocks.

Why do you need BEADLOCKS?

Because i use them on my atv KTM 505sx and my yamaha yfz450 hiper carbon fiber beadlocks and ITP t-7 beadlocks on my yamaha rhino.

Beside they looks good, they help a lot when offroading.

So i thought i was only about street legal DOT regulations, is more about maintenance. Keeping track of the bold tighten and well ballance. With a correct tire psi. Aint nobody got time for that.

If i buy beadlocks is to use them

wheever i going offroad and whenever i need to travel to the city in panama will use stocks rims around 3 hour driving from where i live.

Where i live, is not more than 10 min to arrive to my work and no more than 50mph driving speed

Lol.... Btw do you even know how to torque them? Its not the easiest thing. Most tq wrenches go as low as 25 lb ft tq. You will need a smaller caliber torque wrench and do some calculations.

Just cause you have them on other things doesnt mean it will be great for the truck. Hell i run beads on my atv too

Its not worth it if you will never check up on them
