My issue was with the connection at the aux wire. Highly recommend the aux extension wires from SPV… seems like a lot of money for what it is but makes install so much easier lol.

Ford leaves no wire length to work with even with battery out.

As an aside, I attempted to install the BD made side covers today. Hot garbage. Such a poor fit I tossed them in the garbage.

Yep. These had 2 holes for the screws on the inner side where light connects to bracket. They won’t go inside, must go out, and are at least 1/4” from light, look bad, and will suck in lots of wind. Too late for pics. Tossed em.

I think those are not BD covers. I saw those somewhere, definitely not BD
