2.5 years. I think the winch takes a toll on it. It was before I learned about hitting the throttle for a little more juice when doing a heavy pull.

Interesting reading about the Sears battery. I have to admit I have not been very fond of Sears automotive for a long time... going back to the 90's with the auto repair scandals and used battery scandal (I don't even remember the full story anymore).

I always used Optima's in my Jeep's but I have been a big fan of Interstate ever since my 1989 Audi 200 when 11 years with a Interstate Battery. I always found them to be reliable up until this previous August when I had two fail while still under warranty. One on my Audi A6 and the other on my Titan. Both went about 3 years and I was not impressed with the longevity.

So my plan was to switch back to Optima but I will have to give the Sears battery some consideration as well.
