Battery Keeps Dying

I need someone with a 2013 raptor to do me a favor. After you drive to your destination and put your truck in park is the "P" Parking indicator Red or white?

When i drive mine and then put it in park its still white. See image below

I think its the microswitch in the shifter.

This is the same issue I had earlier this week. It was the micro switch in the shifter, took me 15min to solder in a new one. No more issues for me. Part number: Omron D2HW-C201M.

So I took it to the dealer last week they claimed the couldn't reproduce the issue. So I took the truck back. Documented all the situations that I could reproduce the issue put the info into an email and sent it off to the Service manager. Truck went back in this week, they were able to reproduce the issue I have been having with the back-lights staying on and the "P" indicator staying white. I let them know about the micro switch in the shiftier. End of day yesterday they said the are working with the Ford Hotline to try and resolve the issue.

Hopefully they get it resolved today.

Hey Crystal thanks for checking in. I heard back from the dealer yesterday via email. Here is what they had to say.

"I need the truck one more day, we are replacing the shifter and reprogramming the cluster again per hotline. I will call you tomorrow – should be done around noon."

Hopefully it solves the lighting bug ive been having because I really like my new Raptor but so nervous that it wont start in the morning cause the light is always draining it.

Sure thing, Trav. It sounds like things are progressing, but if you'd like me to push this up the chain to your regional customer service manager, just let me know. Either way, I'll continue to keep an eye on this thread to hear how things go.

it is your ignition switch. the thing you stick the key in. happened to my 2013 fir a month till i figured it out. it needs to be replaced and it is a ford issue.....bill

The issue was the microswitch in the shifter. Was replaced under warranty.

The tell tell sign is when vehicle is placed in park the "P" indicator which is supposed to be illuminated RED stays WHITE.
