During this run, will we be "out in the wild" enough where gunplay will be OK (legal) during breaks, or is that for another place and time??

there is no one for miles around us, the freeway is 5-10 miles away majority of the time, so if you want to squeeze off a few hundred rounds I doubt any would notice

So I called Buffalo Bill's to book my room and said that the Aladdin concert is in town that day and every hotel room in Primm is booked...All 3 hotel's

My next option would be Jean Neveda which is only 12 miles past Primm
We can stay at GoldStrike(http://www.goldstrikejean.com/)
They have room's and they are $49.95 as of 2 minutes ago

What do you think?

FYI I would edit out the last part of your post.

No need to draw attention to this get together or potentially give information out that could possibly be used against us.

There is another section on this board for those questions.

Edit my post? Why? What is the big deal?

I asked an honest question for the experienced desert drivers who have experience in the area with regard to CA law.

Regardless, I am far more interested in learning about off-road driving than I am about shooting in the desert.

No issue either way on my part.

If shooting is legal in that area is legal, great. If it is not legal, it is not. So be it...

Settle down noob. I think there are many reasons NOT to publicize what you posted on a public forum in regards to your exact whereabouts and firearms.

But just go ahead and tell the world where you will be and that you might be packing.

Do you know everyone that reads this forum? I would guess not.

So....now I know where you'll be, if you are armed or not and what kind of truck you drive, what color it is.

Get it?

If I am a ranger or law enforcement now I know some things that maybe you wanted to keep on the dl (or maybe others on the trip wanted to keep quiet about)
