Trying to decide between the BakFlip VP, G2 or HD for my raptor. I need something water tight, secure and durable. If there are other highly recommended options, please let me know. I need to get one before winter.

I like the f1. I had owned the hd and was glad I upgraded to the f1. There are several threads where reviews of theses models can be found.

Some guys told me to checkout the Undercover Flex and how similar it is to the F1, anyone have one here? UnderCover Flex

The only difference I noticed is that the F1 leans against the back window when fully open but not the Undercover Flex.

Here are some other differences between the F1 and the Flex:

1. When the panels are folded and stacked, the Flex comes with straps to hold the panels in place. The F1 just has D-rings, so you will need to buy and use bungee cords.
2. The F1 has two bolt hole covers on the panel by the cab, the Flex does not which makes it a bit nicer looking.
3. The Flex has two additional (vertical) rubber pieces in the seals that are between the panels.
4. The Flex is 3/4" thick, the F1 is 1/2". (Bak's website used to say that the F1 was 5/8" thick).
5. The Flex is rated at being able to hold 400 lbs of distributed weight, the F1 is rated at 500 lbs.

The F1 doesn't come with straps? I thought they all did, that's a big no. My tonneau cover on my older F150 had straps, that was the best thing they added since I used all the time.

Thanks for the insight...I have to make my decision before winter hits so I'm not cleaning out a bed full of snow lol
