It has rubber bumpers that lean against the back window. I helped a friend move last weekend and had my F1 folded up, didn't here any squeaking or rubbing sounds at all or any rub marks.

Exactly. I set mine up so the rubber strips hit the rubber window moulding on the rear window. I havent driven with it up yet and I didn't even think about it squeaking but if it does, oh well. I'd rather have the squeek than marks.

Just a quick update:
I LOVE this cover! I think I made the right decision. The weather here has been HORRIBLE lately with wind and rain and the cover has been awesome! I do think I'll go back and install the drains like the instructions say. I don't know where the water comes from but there is a little that gets in the channels and drains out the back or in the front where the drains are. Honestly, it's not much water at all but with the drains installed I think the cover will be damn near waterproof!
Also, this thing is tough! Like a ****, I had a long piece of formed aluminum (roof ridge vent cap) hanging out of the back of the bed with just one section of the cover flipped up but not tied down. I thought I could drive nice and get home. WRONG! The wind caught the cover and SLAM! It shut on the ridge vent. I thought for sure the cover would be damaged but it wasn't! Cover was perfect, no damage at all. Wish I could say the same for that ridge vent.

How does it hold up while catching air? I saw one video somebody had what looked like a bakflip and it came loose and lost their gear.

I haven't driven the truck that hard since I've had the cover honestly. However, I can't imagine it coming open just from the bed flexing during any type of semi-sane driving/ jumping with an UNLOADED bed. I say unloaded but I really mean either unloaded or secure bed. I'm sure if you let your 35" spare flop around in there it'll come out like the bed cover wasn't there. It isn't designed for that. You can shake an empty pringles can with the lid on all day long and it'll stay put. If you try it with half the chips still in the can you are gonna get very hungry picking the crumbs up off the floor.

Thank you for the writeup. I thought the F1 was for me but I think I will get the VP now: less expensive, lighter and more water resistant. I found this great video review:
