Noted, sounds like I'll end up purchasing the fog pocket kit in the future. Going to mount these up and go from there.

You won’t get the distance out of the squadron pros that you can with the XL80s, both from the bigger/badder light and the position of the mount. If you need infill more, get the wide corner lens. If you need a little more distance I’d suggest the driving combo; It pushes a little further and still has some adequate infill and splash to light up the road side critters.

Seriously, the XL80s will bounce back at you off of any reflective surface, so be judicious in using them. I have mine in tandem with an S8, and if I am able to catch a particularly furry rodent in the beam at close distance they just erupt in a puff of smoke.

We run the XL80 in Spots here, to avoid the reflection off the hood. Baja does not sell/offer them as such, but we stock tons of lights + accessories so we always swap out the lenses for customers prior to shipping (if they want spot).

Please remind me of the differences between the Alternative Offroad A-Pillar and the SDHQ A-Pillar Brackets.

I still have the Alternative Offroad A-Pillar Brackets but those were for my 2014 so they won't work on my Raptor.

I believe I have the Z-Roadz brackets now for my Raptor but not sure how the measure up to the other two sets.

SDHQ sit closer to the windshield and mount below the cowl. Larger lights may hit your antenna but the SDHQ sits lower and further back.
Alternative Offroad sits up more as it attaches to the hood. Easier and quicker install with the Alternative Offroad and it does not interfere with the antenna. It does sit more forward though.

I ran the SDHQ on my old F150 demo truck and I run the Alternative Offroad on our Raptor now. We stock both.

I think im gonna pull the trigger on a set of Baja Designs fog pocket kit. What can you offer/recommend to me? Ill purchase through you if we can figure something out. Remember I already have the XL80s coming in in combo spot/driving. I'm not opposed to swapping out the lenses like you mentioned. I'd like to get the Pro version of what ever we decide upon, something I can use daily if needed. TIA

Well we have a few different options. Check out our BUILD YOUR OWN Kit and you'll see some recommendations listed. Recommendation #1 is great if you want street legal fogs in white and amber.

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-f...ght-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-build-your-kit/

Go with Recommendation #3 if you only care about SAE's in white. You'll get the 2nd and 3rd pair as Pros.

I'm a fan of having at least one pair SAE lights, as those are street legal fogs and are not overpowering and blinding. Sports and Pros CAN be a bit much if not aimed properly while SAE are pretty safe (you still need to aim everything).

Remember our brackets are made right here on Long Island out of 11 gauge stainless steel AND powder coated on top of that (belt + suspenders). Plus we're the only ones who offer a Raptor Lifetime Guarantee on our brackets no matter WHAT you do to your truck.

Coupon code FOGS will save you $$ on the fog kit (or wait till tomorrow and you'll save $50 automatically as part of our 4th of July Promo... so you can figure out tonight which discount is better for you, $$ off now with coupon code FOGS or $50 off tomorrow)

If you want to check out our brackets' features, check out the following video:

I DEFINITELY need some fogs in Amber so I can utilize those in heavy fog and or dust, so I want that.

SAE means they meet certain requirements the DOT/SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) want/put out for vehicles. It basically means they are legal to use on public roads.

Honestly if you look at our Build Your Own page, you'll see a few recommendations which go over where/what they'd be used for. When in doubt, choose one of those.
