Any idea when you might post a photo of the S1 reverse kit installed on the raptor? May have to consider swapping out the S2 sports but would like to see what they look like back there and if they are too bright for reverse lights

Maybe this weekend. Been really busy. We just brought in a big shipment of Baja a few days ago and brought in a big shipment of our own CrystaLux lights as well. So we have to sort through those. I also have to get my alignment banner back up on the wall for photo shoots. We mainly use this with our LED Headlight bulbs but does great at other lights so you can really see a clean beam pattern. That banner looks like this if you are curious:

It's a 16' banner so it's pretty massive in size. We don't keep it up year round though (it's so big it takes up a full wall which also blocks our windows)

Don't forget that our S2 and S1 Reverse kits offer you the option to add on our Upfitter Connector Kit. This lets you control your reverse lights from the switch OR by going into reverse.

Also, for those who want the HIGHEST quality in harnesses money can buy, ask us about our special premium LVJ Harness that removes all of the t-taps and splits at the lights and connects them to your BCM wiring. No better way to wire up the lights then this way. Custom made by us by none-other then Keith over at LVJ Motorsports. It's one high quality harness.

Adam...where and how are you tapping into the BCM on the Gen 2's?

I did my own install two years ago and spliced a wire into the reverse wire at the hitch. Your solution sounds easier.

Well... it's not EASIER so to speak but BETTER. So by your passenger footwell is the harness from the truck. We're actually tapping into the reverse signal here instead of back at the tail light where it can come loose/get water in the lines/etc... We have a harness that goes from the S1/S2 reverse lights up to your engine bay. Utilizing the upfitters to control the lights and the pass-through cables we achieve this new connection.

Thanks...how are you doing the "tapping" at the harness?

Well we offer two kits... the cheaper option is a splitter, extension harness and upfitter.

The crème de la crème harness, made by LVJ, replaces the existing splitter at the lights, connects them to it's own harness and the entire thing is brought up to your enigne bay. From here there is a built in weatherproof relay (one that tops all others I have to say) that is triggered from your upfitters. There is a 2nd trigger that is done from the BCM harness reverse light wire itself. Which is by your passenger foot well. So you'll use a pass-through upfitter to get to this wire. From here there is a wire tap for the BCM wire (but it's done inside the cab instead of out at the elements).

Correct. It's the same method used for the GJ Motorsports 3rd Brake light when you opt for the reverse harness. LVJ Makes the wiring harness for GJ Motorsports, so same idea to get the reverse signal.

A few folks have asked us questions about the Upfitter Connection Harness/Kit. YES, it IS available and we've been shipping them. The LVJ Harness is DIFFERENT from the Upfitter Connection Kit we're offering on our S1/S2 reverse kits. Our S1/S2 Reverse Upfitter Connection Kit is based on the same concept you see already out there. A branch off the existing system up to your upfitters. Just adds upfitter control.

The LVJ Harness is a different concept/idea we're working on.
