Now I'm considering additional lighting options...

Does this fit? What size? What mount? Any pics or links?

Tried searching but couldn't find anything.

TIA

I'm going through the same thoughts. Baja Designs or Rigid... Baja Designs seems to be the superior product (waterproofing approach seems better, interchangable lenses, lifetime warranty, preferred color temp of 5000K over the more blue output of the Rigids) but Rigid seems like a great product too and far more popular. I figure after spending so much on the truck, it's worth doing it the best way possible though. Tough decision!

At this point, I'm thinking Baja Designs 20" OnX 6 combo in the lower bumper license plate area (no front plate needed here in TN) and then a pair of Squadrons in the fog light pockets with wide lenses on the outside pair and driving lenses on the inside pair. As a nice bonus, I'd plan to just leave on the outside pair of wides on as DRL's. I called Baja Designs yesterday and apparently they have a bracket in the works for mounting the 20" OnX 6 in the lower bumper area, but it's not available just yet.

The tough part is deciding between the 20' OnX 6 package described above or going with the existing double bracket and two 20" Stealths. The Stealths provide redundancy in case one goes bad and also offers more total lumens (16,800!) than the single 20" OnX 6, but also more $$$. With the two 20" Stealths and the Squadrons, the total tab is getting scary close to $2,500. That's a lot of scratch for lights in anyone's book!

Ahhhh... decisions, decisions.

Fellow member PropDr had one in his bumper grille. If I recall, he said he had to trim some metal on the bumper or frame horn ears to make it fit. I have a picture of his truck somewhere... will try to dig it up or you could PM him.

He has the older Onyx that is 22", when they came in cells that were only 4 lights instead of cells of 6. he did fit it in there though.

I've been told that Onx is in the process of making mounts for the new 20" Onx6 to fit in the bumper slot. Seems to be taking awhile :banghead:

Really interested in the Onx for spot with some squadron cornering lights and fogs.

I had a single 20" Stealth in my stock bumper when it was still on the truck. The mounting kit from BD is nice and everything went together smoothly. Only trimming needed was on the square plastic piece next to the grille, to clear the harness out the side of the bar. Also, the metal trim pieces that BD provides with the kit hide the tabs that can be seen when the grill is removed. I don't think other companies do that. BD may cost more but you're getting a high quality product. Email Christian, he'll give you a 10% forum member discount too.

Baja Designs all the way!
