Have a little bit of bad news...not the lights but the video/pics are NOT coming out...I used a GoPro for video and my Galaxy S7...and it was worse..
It seems that my photographic tool box sucks!

It will be challenging to get quality photos without a DSLR camera. Post the best photos you can obtain . I am so curious.

Ok...just rec'd my new Laser XL lights!...Will try to get out tonite to shoot video/pics of LED XL's and then swap in the new LASER's tomorrow and again try to get some night time pics...
I have no intention of hurting anyone with my lights, but need to ask BD, any safety precautions I need to know other then don't look directly into the LASER lights...

As with most, if not all BD lights, don't look directly at them for too long. Otherwise, you'll be seeing spots.

Ok...one more question for BD...on my present XL's I sometimes run amber covers and use them as front facing dust lights...any problem with doing the same with my new lights?

No issues! The same Rock Guards will work on the XL Laser lights

Photos and videos can always be a bit tricky. Usually never fully represents the performance of the lights. Hopefully you can get a pic or two going

Sorry guys....had to work all this week and have to work this weekend...if it makes you feel any better I'm a total gadget geek and this working thing is making me mad!

Looks just like the LED lights....except for that way cool standard Laser trademark on the bezel...

Sorry guys no pictures, still no camera that works well at night...I plan on being at the KOH Thursday and Friday. I'm told they do have some night stuff going on...

Oh yeah...The lights do just as advertised, long range spots that burn a couple of holes way out there...but lets be clear, these lights by them self don't put out a good usable spread of light like the driving combo lights most people are used to, they need additional lighting to fill in the other lighting zones to make up a complete lighting package...so my other pic gives you an idea of what I also did right after installing the Lasers...I'll share pics of the grill installed when i take some.

And yes the light output improved, maybe 20-25% max, so no miracles, but the output was increased..

maybe u can take a quick video turning in the lights so that we can get some sort of idea of how the laser projects?

I did that before using my camera phone with my squadron pros while on a dark road and it turned out ok.

Nice update. The camera situation will be a challenge. I say just do the best you can with your camera. Or iPhone. Take a bunch of photos from KOH and share the handful of the ones that turned out decent. I am curious about the lasers. However, I am not in the market for extreme distance lighting. I am mostly intrigued about seeing your ONYX+ .
