I have the amber, wide, and spot lights in “sport”, next time I would go “pro”.

I spend 30-40 days a year hunting, so these become more of a “need” being in fields very early and very late though.

I’ve had my 40” OnX6 for 4 years and just moved it to my new 19’ Raptor in Sept with the first Offroad Alliance front bumper mount (those guys kick ass).
For snow/fog and Seattle crud, I want all ambers in the fog location.
Loving all things Baja Designs, I first ordered the S1 WC for back up lights as soon as they were released. They’re amazing.
I just installed amber S1s WC for everyday lights using the new CrystalLux bracket mentioned above. (That bracket kicks ass too.)

The S1s are fantastic choice for everyday use and will fill that outside pie shaped hole better then the rectangular S2s, in my opinion.
Eventually I’ll manage to sneak the remaining package of amber Squadron Pro WC, and amber XL80s DC past the wife lol.

2019 SCREW Magnetic Grey, ceramic tinted, XPEL Ultimate wrapped.
40” OnX6 Curved, S1 backup.
Diamondback HD over a Line-X’d bed.

The S1's in the wide cornering beam pattern throw a bright and definitely wide pattern. For the triple fog light kits using say our optimized bracket, we like the S1. It's slightly more compact design just seems to fit a bit better. Our bracket can absolutely handle three sets of Squadrons or two sets and a pair of the S2's. But the overall look of the S1 appeals to us.

Here's the S1 reverse kit (we realize its the reverse kit, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect) in wide cornering beam:

And here's our optimized bracket with two pairs of Squadrons and a set of S1's in amber wide cornering:

I actually just got the ok from the body shop to order the lights and they will reimburse me from the insurance claim. My truck spends most time on road but I keep reading mixed reviews on the BD SAEs. Which option would you guys choose?

Option 1:
Squadron Pro Spots
Squadron Pro Wide Cornering
Squadron SAE - Amber

Option 2:
Squadron Pro Spots
Squadron Pro Wide Cornering
S1 Wide Cornering - Amber

My original thought was Option 1 but I saw this picture and Im really digging the look of the S1.
Help me choose.

Haha, it’s weird seeing my truck/pic floating around.

So I’ve tested the s2 sport and s1 together / amber wide corner. I *felt* the s2 sport had a bit more spread coverage and I tossed that up to being two diodes as compared to the single.

Personally, I like the s1 due to the look and only run my Squadron Racer and Squadron Pro Driving Combo as my lighting when I’m offroad. If anything, I’ll be switching out the s1 to a squadron pro since I do not have the 10” onx6 anymore.

I would like to get some more ditch coverage while driving. So I was thinking about mounting Wide Driving S1s next to the XL80s. Do the S1s throw enough light to make a difference for ditch coverage? I have used S2s before, but never the S1s.

Here's a few output shots of the S1's. They would do a great job for ditch lighting.

If you need a set, we've got plenty, but might suggest waiting til next week to pick up set. Could be some great Black Friday deals happening.

they work well. I use them instead of combo lenses to keep the hood glare to a minimum ( the roof lightbar can sometimes be distracting enough, in particular at speeds over 60ish mph around dusk).

I have about 1000 offroad, night time miles since adding them. I like them a lot.

Thanks man! Exactly what I was looking for. I will be ordering a set next week!
