I took the recall jackstands back and exchanged them for new 6 ton stands.

i did that last year also. i intentionally kept mine so i could exchange them in hopes of them coming out with a new product. only took 7 years, but hey, im cheap.

as I posted elsewhere, I scored one. They had 6 or 7 on the floor. I've since watched a few videos of people comparing it to the Pro Eagle, torture testing it, and it seems every bit as good if not better in some areas than the Pro Eagle. There is no doubt in my mind they are made in same factory.

i had that sale price when i got mine too. plus i opened up an acct and saved an additional 10% on it. these prices pop up every now and then. if you arent in a hurry to get one, just hold on. i usually see these types of discounts 2 times a year. dont quote me on that though
