That model looks like overkill. If there is such a thing. It will get rid of the odor, but probably won't do much for eroot cause.

Asking not saying....?

EDIT:
I'm thinking that this or the carbon filter will solve the symptom (the smell) but not the disease (the actual mold/mildew), but am I overthinking it?

OK, so I bought this and this smaller one:

The smaller one I tried twice, but it did not seem to put out enough ozone to do much in the truck/the smell survived. I like that it is rechargeable and portable though, so I will hopefully get some use out of it for hunting, etc.

The larger one puts on a show and puts out some ozone...I ran it in the car for 10 minutes this weekend, and it noticeably filled the truck with ozone/seems to have worked. I will use it periodically going forward, and also change the cabin filter.

Doesnt Ozone eat rubber, vinyl, & leather over time? I had a tire shop tell me my sidewalls were cracking because of Ozone.

Im ordering one of the charcoal cabin filters from Amazon and will soak the AC intakes with Lysol before installing the Cabin filter. No smell yet but want to keep it that way!
