When I went to Afton Cannyon with forum people last time, that place was awesome for Raptor.
Sandy washes and flat lake bed was great condition for high speed offroading
and dry, solid ground was nothing to worry for the truck.
But yesterday, after heavy rain for last few weeks, the place was totally different.
Sandy washes become mud and Raptor easily got stuck.
It was fun to drive for first time.
Me and my friend enjoy the scenaries there and took picture blah blah blah...
And then I met Brian there!!
I was passing two truckes just before I hit those 2 river cross area, I found Brian's Raptor there.
I went back to the trucks and said hello to Brian, and he told me about his story of getting stuck in the mud.
After short conversation I return to the trail and not even after 10 minutes Brian told me the story, I got stuck too.
The first water cross point has bronken road condition. Uphill trail was partly collapsed, so I was trying U-turn on the wet area which I didnt really noticed it was mud.
Front 2 tires got stuck on mud and I didnt want my truck dig too deep, so I stoped and look.
I looked 2 real tires could get grib with some stones so I tried to find stones and then, the Jeep guy came to the area, Thanks God!!!
He just pulled me out of mud so easily and we could continue to run.
Acording to the map Dan provieded on this forum, there are two section, Havard to Afton and Afton to Rasor.
Havard to Afton section was great condition for Raptor, but Afton to Rasor section was bit difficult for Raptor.
Dan advised me before that I dont go offroading alone.
But this time, my very close friend asked me going because he wanted to buy offroading vehicle.
So once he buys one, I can go with him everytime.
Sorry for breaking rull #2 Dan!
I think this is the same bridge Dan and Chad took pics.
I think this is the river where Brian took vid while Dan or Mark was crossing.
This is where I got stuck. You can see the deep tred mark on mud and real end of Jeep.
After the good Samaritan pulled me out of mud.
God mud?
