don’t you work at a dealership meaning the truck goes to the dealership all the time lol. I do like the roll down rear window, loved it on 4runner. I don’t love how Toyota has no innovation, same truck for almost two decades.

Haha I used to, but not anymore.
Nice choice on Ford Performance Blue, you have good taste :favorites13:

I personally never open any of my windows, or sunroof. But finding an otherwise loaded Raptor without a sunroof is nearly impossible.

I know. You have to order one or get lucky. I got lucky. Bought an 801a during Covid, so got it for invoice without any of the prone-to-fail bells and whistles.

This is the same old story of who thinks what is better and if you do think it is better than buy it! I would rather listen to someone who has their finger on the pulse of what is going on it the industry than someone who read something on the net or had one friend that had a problem. And if you work at a Car dealer you work for the owner of the dealership not for the manufacture

You guys are comparing SUVs that had rear windows that went down, so did my old square body Blazer and my mom`s Ford LTD wagon but its not a pickup truck. No matter what truck you look at even within the same brand and model you will find people complaining about something even down to what color is best. Why did you waste your money on the graphics package? why did you waste your money on the carbon fiber package, truck looks like shit without the graphics package, on and on and on, Buy what you like and like what you buy.
Ramble over.

That works great so long as you order a vehicle. Most people buy off the lot, so going by the numbers, stickers and sunroofs and carbon and fake beadlocks are very popular. So Ford makes even more and the cycle continues. I guess that's fair because Ford's customers are the dealers, not the end user.

The graphics packages really make a raptor a raptor. Not the same truck without them. The sliding glass rear window is stupid as is the cheap plastics bits toyota uses.

Your right, I bought mine off the lot due to a situation with my Jeep and it being bought back. I did not want a sunroof but forget about finding one especially when your given a short time frame. A lot of people do realize that not everyone is a mechanic or has every tool that they need or budget or even a driveway to work in.

They buy what they can afford and are happy with it, but why should they get hammered because of this or that that is on the truck and it does not suite someone elses liking? That what bothers me the most, just because you have a sunroof and your considered an idiot for having one because of all of the problems but yet maybe you could not wait 6 months for the perfect truck?

I see your point! I personally have no use for them and hate the possibly to invite trouble from something that I did not want, yet some never have an issue at all.

Those that take preventive maintenance to lube the rails and stripping.

I have also picked that the seals tend to dry out less if the shades are open for whatever reason that is

I believe in preventive maintenance, with any of the times that you bring your truck in for a service is that something that is included or do you have to request for it to be done and pay the extra time it takes?
