I should also add; Document any maintenance work you do so you have a record. I just write the details in my owners manual. I like to keep the oil filter box tops also. View attachment 145094
I like to keep the receipt for the oil and filter. It’s already got the date on it and I add mileage before stashing it in an envelope in my glovebox.

Guess I’ll hijack this thread - first post here! I have 4K on my 20 SCAB and a fresh case of AMSOIL on my workbench. Is the oil drain problem only on the plastic pans or both plastic and metal? My Gen1 was easy but these 2s seem messy. Is the F107N for a 20?

It gets messy even with the steel pan. The problem is that the access panel is kind of small, and the first quart or two comes out under enough pressure that the oil overshoots the hole, and ends up on top of the skid plate opposite it.

It looked like that was going to be the case, so, for my first change, I stuck a piece of cardboard up there, between the catch pan and the crossmember above it. That deflected the oil down into the catch pan.

I put in a Fumoto on that change, and the second, at 5k, was perfectly clean other than a couple tablespoons lost when removing the filter.

Been following forum for a while and plan on doing my own maintenance. Regarding oil filter - any issues, heads up, work arounds?

thanks in advance...

First oil change today. No big deal - used a piece of cardboard for a makeshift funnel, which worked well. My filter wrench was too big so just broke loose with my hand. Eh....about the same as my Gen1.

Looking at Fumoto Website - says for 2020 Ford F150 with Turbo V6 = F137, F137N, F137S or F107SX

No listing for F107N - I did find F107N from 3rd party vendors...

???

I just received my F107SX. Seems like a solid design that allows it to rotate 360. Excited to get it on the truck!
