I previously purchased a set of the AVS low profile In Channel rain deflectors and have had the common issues of bumping back down. AVS sent me another set and same issue. Very frustrating and I had to be very slow in trying to roll up the windows.
This week I ordered 3M double sided tape just like the deflectors came with from Amazon. I took them all off and took my Dremel tool to the lip since it’s the reason it bumps back down. After taking off a good amount of the lip and sanding it with 220 grit sand paper, I cleaned them, installed the tape and NO BUMPING! It’s a lot smoother when it stops at the end of the channel.
I personally like the AVS low profile for my Raptor but really like it now since it works like it’s supposed to. AVS customer support was awesome sending me another set for free
