I appreciate all the positive comments and guidance. The revelco seems pricey for what it is but a solid option to deter theft.

Nice. how do you keep the out of the truck though?

So your truck never leaves the garage?

I mean.. throwing the bingo card on a theft victim would be kicking an FRF while they’re down. I can’t get there on a break in or vehicle theft. And honestly, if someone comes up with a new and inventive theft or break preventative, make all the new posts you want!
You can’t.. just don’t leave anything of value in there. Fingers crossed, the worst that happens is I have to replace a door handle

The ravelco guys said multiple times that experienced thieves know the ravelco is really difficult to re-wire and steal, and that the sticker they give you is a real deterrent. I followed their advice and tinted over the ravelco stickers so they are extremely visible. Hopefully thieves see the sticker and move on

I won't try to stir the pot too much. Your best source for all this info is the TRX forum. There is thousands of entries on this topic.

Yes ravelco can be beat quite easily. There are videos over on the TRX forum showing how its done.

Best bet is IGLA with compustar. Nothings full proof when you can just tow it away but with compustar at least you know when the truck gets elevated and a special siren with start going off.

I got a ravelco installed. Cost 800$
My first Ravelco install was 2004-ish. I believe it was about $300 then. 20 years (and 2 Broncos, 1 Tacoma, 1Tundra, 1 Chevy 3500, 1 ecoboost f150 & 1 Gen 1 Raptor) later, I still think it's worth it, even with the price increase.

Wouldn’t they be able to steal the signal of the compustar? I have 2 trucks to do and the price of installation is giving me anxiety. These trucks are already extremely expensive and shockingly so easy to steal. I’m going to look into all the recommendations and look at TRX forums so I can have a better picture of how to keep my trucks in my possession.
