automatic high beams...

i've had my raptor for like three weeks only. but i've noticed that while driving at night, sometimes the brights will come on by themselves and then go out by themselves. i'm worried that it might happen when there is someone coming toward me. does anyone else experience this?

Automatic high beams. They are light sensing and speed sensitive. You can disable them but they work great.

I found mine by accident. Really surprised how accurately they detect headlights and taillights.

That's odd, I haven't had anyone flash me directly with the low-beams on but it does happen on occasion when riding my Harley which has an OEM LED headlight (it's aimed correctly) and is very bright.

As for the auto high beams, I turned that feature off along with the auto wipers - I found both to be annoying.

It’s in the menu, Forscan is not required.

For me it's too sensitive. Always turns off when it detects street lights or lights on signs, so it ends up flashing on and off at times.

I like them. This is the 3rd car I have owned w/ this feature. The Raptor's are a bit more sensitive than others but they do work well.
