COBB released a firmware update yesterday and one of the bug fixes was to auto start/stop system. Details below.

Firmware Update Version 1.7.3.0-17484:

New Features:
Added Stage 2 OTS maps for 2017 and 2018 Ford Raptor.
Included Maps: - Ford Raptor Map Notes
Stage2 87 OCT or 91 RON v101
Stage2 91 OCT or 95 RON v101
Stage2 93 OCT or 98 RON v101
Added the monitor "Short Term Fuel Trim (Average)" and remove the duplicate monitor "Short Term Fuel Trim" from 2017 Ford Raptor.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed an issue where gauges would not resume on the Accessport after a key cycle.
-Fixed an issue that caused Auto Start/Stop feature to work unreliably.
-Improved how engine on/off detection works with auto start/stop.

Bit of a delay in getting back to this. I updated the Stage 1 map to the newer version that has the fix for the ASS. (I didnt actually realize that you had to update the map itself after a FW update on the AP until I read that on the Cobb site at the weekend).

Since update, i see all of the ASS info on the dash now as expected, but the truck still doesn't actually stop. It now always states that it is on due to charging. I am wondering if there is something else at play here or if there is some parameter change re voltage that means it is never reached.

I put the battery on charge over night on a battery tender and the ASS worked as expected. Looks like my battery is struggling to maintain enough charge during these winter months...
