Just did it with FORScan on my truck.... AWESOME! No issue. Better than jumping the switch, using a tailor plug, etc. MUST DO!

If you are in AZ and bring budlight I will hook ya up.

I'd argue the unknown long term consequences of setting the truck into a state where it thinks the battery is constantly charging isn't necessarily better than jumping the switch. Probably fine and the message misleading, but people should be aware that none of us are Ford engineers.

Yikes. Didn't realize this was what the Forscan hack does to disable this (tricks truck into thinking battery is charging)...glad I went with the jumper first.

Isn't it the same as if you had a subwoofer? Don't think it would do any damage. And if you live in a hot state, the battery will probably be toast after 3 years anyways.

I turned off auto stop/start last night using Forescan to change codes. Today I installed the Kicker sub and activated it with Forescan and turned off the engine noise as well. All this is working fine so far and I LIKE IT A LOT.

Now I just have to break my habit of pushing the button to defeat the auto stop very time I start the truck. haha
