A 2 post maybe an idea but lift just for personal use. Leaning towards a four post with some storage potential and casters vs bolting down in concrete. Any opinion on Triumph NOS9000XLT or Backyard Buddy ( now Steel Valley) Super Duty Lift?

It comes down to personal preference and use. 2 post has a smaller footprint. 4 post can be handy to just drive on and lift up. They do make 2 post parking lifts also. I dont have experience with either of those. Regarding parking lifts, I've used Bendpak and Directed lifts. The Directed 4 post have casters so you can move around and dont have to be bolted in. Its also 110V so much easier to set up power. One huge drawback is on 110V it takes almost 3 minutes to fully lift. Its really annoying standing there watching a car inch up slowly slowly slowy.

Just put together a Steel Valley lift/ Backyard Buddy 9000# Super Duty Lift that is 110...It is kinda slow but seems safe. Otherwise I am very satisfied with it. I think can switch it over to 220 but gotta run a larger wire out to the barn.
