i would double check the track width of that thing - is it gonna fit between the wheel wells?

also finding ramps for these high beds kinda sucks, its a steep angle. Make sure you secure the ramps to the hitch or something so they dont get kicked out from under you. I don't trust those tiny little chains that are supposed to hook to the tailgate I see on some of them

The width of the bed is 65” and this ATV is 55” at its widest. The weight concerns are interesting though. Payload for the GEN3 maxes out at 1,400lbs. It’s about a 40 minutes drive to my house from the dealer but I wonder if towing mode stiffens the dampeners to adjust for the payload weight too.

Width between wheelwells is more like 50”. And payload includes driver and passengers and there’s a weight limit for each axle. 1000lb in the bed is likely to overload the rear axle and make her squat like a toad.

An often overlooked point. I had some of the ramps from the link below when I used to carry ATVs. If I did it again, I'd probably just trailer it.

I’ve transported a 12’ long snowmobile in the bed. That ATV is maybe 300-400lbs heavier. Sled is around 550lbs give it take depending on gas and how much snow is on it. Size wise it you would be fine. It’ll definitely squat a lot with that much weight. If it’s only a short drive I wouldn’t worry about it and just take it easy.
Did you get a good bit of squat with your sled in the bed? I have an older polaris 500 and have not loaded it in the bed as of yet but a little concern that it will squat too much. Atv weighs around 650 lbs

Oh at 650 you’ll fine. The sled caked in snow probably isn’t far off that. Summit 650 165” with a fair bit of tunnel bracing and stuff. The squat is noticeable, but not unreasonable. Have done long drives with it no problem. Some of those drives have included forest roads covered in snow and potholes. Putting the suspension in sport mode helps. No need to put it in tow though. People will think your brights are on if you drive at night though.

I have a trailer mine....after loading and unloading a few times you will decide what option is best for you...I like to keep my hunting go boxes covered in the bed personally and it's so easy to unload off the trailer and take off.
