They ride great. Just as good as any other quality leaf springs. The thing that really sets them apart is the hand-made aspect quality, and their durability.

So, (and this may be a question I need to direct towards Atlas), would they be able to build me a set of do-it-all springs? I want something cushy/plush for cruising around town, with the ability to tow/haul when needed, and still be able to tackle some Raptor friendly terrain, without sacking out?

I can't speak for them. However, given the hand-built nature of their springs, they may be able to work with you. It could be considered a custom application though, and cost more coin. I'm not sure. However, I would place a few bucks down saying they could do it.

So let me get this straight they are cheaper and apparently just as good/better than Deavers/Nationals and almost no one is running them>?

Probably cause they are not as well known as Deaver or National. But yea, it would appear so. Plus a lot of people on here and in the Raptor community in general are happy w/ their Deavers or Nationals so they recommend them and then the chain goes on.

But yeah, if you want same/better quality and durability for less and you're in the market for new springs... Hell, go with Atlas

I wouldn't say they're not as well know. In many 4x4 circles, especially rock crawlers they are perceived as the best. There have been many stories written on their craft published in off road mags. I read a story about front and rear packs they built for an offroad 3/4 ton that had a huge camper on it. That bitch flat out planed over ALL bumps flat as Cameron Diaz chest.
They'll build anything you need.

When I last spoke with Pete at Atlas, he told me I could use the OE bump stop. I'm going to confirm this with him.
Looks like I'll volunteer as the "guinea pig". With confidence.

Oh, by the way, I'm an imbecile. hmmmm after thinking with the head on my shoulders for a change I thought about a factory 2" lift block with a bump stop incorporated in. I surely don't want a leaf pack the same as stock.
NO YOU CANNOT USE THE OE BLOCK. ********.
Atlas +2 progressive springs and Ubolts. 1043.00 shipped to Vermont. Done deal.
