Question on hotel parking lot security: I'll have an open bed with 2 spares, jack, gas can and two tool totes. Do I need to be concerned with theft at all? I've got cable locks for the wheels and jack but will I need to relocate the totes and gas to inside my cab overnight?

Both hotels are secure. We used them twice and we all have spares and tools in back. However if you wish to keep honest people honest with the locks.

No issues last year. I did put my PowerTank in the cab just because it's so easy to pull out and it's a quick $250 out on the streets.

The Tonopah PD was hanging out in the lot with us when we were having beers after the run and I'm sure they watched the trucks since it's a small town. Vegas was fine too.
