Are we waving? I'm waving.

My first two cars were wranglers in the 90's. I was getting waved at whenever another drove by and I adapted quickly and joined in.

Is that a thing with Raptors? I'm guessing no. I have only seen three on the road in my 48 hours of ownership and 620 miles of traveling. I waved since I'm in the honeymoon phase and seeing others makes me happy. No waves back, but youre not going to stop me that easily

It was definitely a thing in the GEN1 era. I think since the trucks were so rare at the time and fewer were produced. As the GEN2 rolled out an production went way up it kinda faded away.

I’ve always wondered the same thing! I try to wave but I usually get blank stares back. Or their heads are down texting lol

I actually used do this. If I saw another Raptor with aftermarket lights I'd hit the fogs. I stopped after no one would flash back.

When I owned Gen 1 and Gen 2 people always waved, Gen 3 I seem to get glares almost rather than waves back from Gen1/2 guys.

No, but to be fair, I don't even look close enough to see if the driver is waving. If I happen to see someone wave, I will wave back.

Finally nailed down the dream truck. New to me blue 17. Couldn’t be happier. Damn near on the ride home I see a beautiful leadfoot across from me at this intersection and I started to panic. “Oh no, do we wave or is that for those jeep savages”? Light changed and the damn fanboy in me broke...

Raptors are very sparse in my neck-o-the-woods. But I don't watch that close. Since I've had mine (8+ months), I've only noticed 2. But I've had a few non-Raptor drivers wave...

Since the Wrangler claimed "The Wave" most others do not but on the rare occasion a Raptor of any gen pulls up next to me (windows happen to be down) I usually just say, "Nice truck, how are you liking it?"

I did enjoy the wave when I had my Wrangler and I also notice nice older folks driving trucks up in the hills tend to wave at fellow trucksters.

So for survey... I am option 3 - in-between. I tend to only wave when waved to... lol.
