I'm well aware IIHA != the Government, nor did I say that. I'm opposing tighter gov regulations that will eventually be present as technology progresses and this data becomes more readily available. If the regulations opened up to allow such technology to be used that is cool, but I just don't want it forced. Should be optional for manufacturers.
Exactly this. NHTSA did this with backup cameras when they estimated 58-69 lives per year could be saved. When the government tries to cater to the lowest common denominator through regulation we all lose. When is the last time you ran anyone over in drive or reverse? If they want to do the study and provide it to the manufacturers that's fine with me. Otherwise adaptation of technology like this should be driven by consumer demand and manufacturer competition.
But there is a Beamtech H11 LED headlight bulb with an ultra-long life of up to 30,000 hours, each bulb is rated at 25 watts. Using this bulb in your Ford F150 requires a simple installation process. Its notable features include two-way Korean CSP LED chips like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YBDA7DC/?tag=fordraptorforum-20, 4,000 lumens per bulb for extremely safe nighttime driving, less heat from cornering, increasing its longevity, and 6500K white xenon. Strictly recommend not to mix up the steps in the instructions. because it can disrupt the operation of the headlights, you will have to buy new ones
Sounds like it's the seller of the product on Amazon. Anyway, hasn't this issue already been solved by the D-bag light bar trend?
