Correct. By default the upfitter switched are not connect to the engine bay but wired there. You could connect the switch to the engine bay then to the compressor, or pull the wire into the cab behind the glove box for a single connection.

Okay, if I'm understanding correctly I would not mess with anything in the engine bay since I have an AUX wire behind the glove box, so I'd just hook up the green wire from the ARB to the single wire for AUX 4 behind the glove box, and all is good?! I'm going to have the compressor inside the cab.
