Definitely try a new quality cable, latest iOS and Sync, and clean out the charging port on your phone to ensure a good connection to the cable

Is there anywhere that I could get some info on how to do the update. I'm an older guy and probably not as savvy as I should beI did the latest Sync update on my ‘20 and haven’t had any issues with CarPlay since I did.

I've found doing the update via USB to work best for me. Good luck!
