Warranty should cover too much road force, and replace them?

Yea so I called the place I got them from and they are going to warranty the road tires that have the road force over 30. Should be good then… or I’ll just get two wack tires again and be in the same boat.

The fact is, all these aggressive tires have become common parlance now. But most of them will drive you nuts on highway… choose wisely. I used to ride next to a truck on the highway with the tires I was looking at buying. Ith they were loud and sound choppy i would try something else.

I had a set of KM3’s on my 2018 that had one bad tire. It was out of round and would’ve needed 32oz of weight to correct. That was the last set of BFGs I bought.

Having an issue with balancing my 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Shop says high road force is the issue.

Someone else told me to try the balancing beads instead of weights. Anyone have experience with them?

i had a set of RGs that i had a hell of a time balancing. got a new set and still had issues until i found a shop that really knew how to use the road force machines well. the trick was turning the "smart balance" feature off

As Killerblackbird previously mentioned, being out of round is a very common problem that dealerships and tire shops often overlook. It feels exactly like the tires are out of balance and shake only at certain speeds. They can balance them all day long and they'll still shake.
To check your tires, jack the tire slightly off the ground leaving about an 1/8" gap and rotate the tire. If the gap changes, they're out of round. I know that BFG's are famous for this problem. My tire shop mounted 14 brand new tires on my truck and I still only managed to get 3 good ones. The tire shop owner says that its a common issue on larger sized tires, and especially BFG's.

So I originally got my wheel and tire setup from Custom Offsets. I filed a warranty claim through them the other day and they’re claiming that the manufacturer wants to inspect the tires before agreeing to a warranty.

So… custom offsets wants me to pay $1317 for two new tires and shipping + tax. Then ship my tires back to them for inspection and “if” they decide to warranty them, I’ll get a refund on the two new tires I paid for, minus $350 for shipping.

Wtf… you sold me 2 beat tires and you want me to pay $350 for shipping on two tires? What a joke

I don't think you'll be happy with beads... tried them on two of my duallys and was not happy with the results. Ended up going to a static balance on the outer rear wheels. Much better.

Unfortunately some tires just don't want to balance out, I went through two sets of new 35's on my Tremor before I found a set that would balance out. Roadforce #'s backed up what I was feeling in the truck - all in the 100's. You should be under 35 on the Roadforce, anything higher send it back.
I've learned to stop ordering the cheapest set I can find online, and just letting my local shop handle it all. They take anything back that doesn't balance out perfectly.

My tires that are causing the vibrations are 41 and 31.

The other two are 21 & 25

TRY to ignor them, I got used to my truck 37 vibrations. It's really not that big of a deal. Again, I have a roof rack with some stupid lights, wind noises are covering the vibration noises.

You can always use something else to cover it up. I cover up my amg lousy road noises with muffler delete.
