Anyone see the Ford oil consumption warnings this week?

I got a new engine at 5K miles. No oil caused engine damage. Still waiting to hear how what happened to cause the issue of losing all that oil. Ford stepped up. No problems since. at 15K miles. I purchased truck brand new in December 2017. Glad they didn't lemon law my Velociraptor. Great power and performance since!!Nice 3.jpg

I didn’t realize the robots assembling these trucks liked to party ....

They put the oil burning valve covers on the engines on Monday and Fridays, and the non-oil burning valve covers on mid week.

To pile on what has already been said, modest oil consumption is not indicative of a fatal flaw. My 996 Turbo manual says up to 1qt every 1k miles is within spec. That's a different car and different motor, but I think the point remains, it's not uncommon for healthy motors to consume some oil. Definitely check it, and track it.
