I had a set of BFG's on my Super Duty that did that. It drove me nuts, too soft a sidewall! Not for me!

Sounds like you know where to get a bunch of sets...

Seriously though, is there any way to buy these from a military vendor or at least find more information?

The problem, like whtrapta mentioned earlier is that they are for a 16.5" wheel, so mil surplus tires aren't an option.

Not to mention they make General Grabbers look like featherweights as far as tire weight is concerned.

New tires are quieter than worn tires, but how are they with 10k+ miles on them??
