Has anyone painted their Tow Hooks, front and/or rear? Pics?

Anyone have info on removing and re-installing them? Any Torque info (Lb-Ft) for the bolts?

I can do what ever you like.
Including shocks and wheel rings or any other bits you want to stand out. As far as TQ good and tight will do.

Tow Hook bolts are 85 lb ft torque according to the SDHQ spec sheet. Right above Lug Nuts page 2.

I had painted red tow hooks on my 2006 F150 and I think it looked super good. It was a dark shadow grey color truck. IMO, red tow hooks look best with the dark grey color trucks.

For some reason I want to say yellow looks better with black.

I had used a red enamel spray paint from an automotive store and it held up perfectly for several years before I sold the truck. Even used them once or twice too

I did my front tow hooks lightning blue. It's pretty subtle, but I'm still trying to decide if I like them or not. I may go back to black at some point??
But I do like my lightning blue d-ring.
