Are ya'll kidding me!!?? We drive a damn Raptor- it is a High Performance Truck!!!! We don't own it nor did they build it for gas mileage. That is for the Focus and Prius. As for the V8, read the title of the thread, folks still want a V8. This thread tickles me, starts out talking bout a V8 and the goes to how great the V6TT is. Give it time, it will go back to the V8. The Raptor-either engine and either Gen is made to be run and play hard, not mileage. As for the GM behind, maybe in some areas, not the engine. Go to the local lot and see how many 1/2 ton trucks are sitting there with a 6.2L, prolly none. They are highly sought after! My next door neighbor has one, lots of power and gets 20 plus MPG on the road in a 4X4. So when it comes to engine GM still has the V8, the 6.2L, and good mileage. So you folks who are mileage minded I'll look for your Raptor in the For Sale thread!

F150/Raptor/Truck guys pretending to be intake/exhaust connoisseur cracks me up. It is likely (unless you have other exotics sitting in your garage also) you have no clue what a really good motor sounds like, if just an American V8 is your baseline. So the Gen 2 shift from the V8 to the hairdryer V6 shouldn't bother anyone, you aren't losing much to begin with.

Not an exotic, but so much sweeter than this TTV6.

Hey Einstein, you do know the new TTV6 makes a shit ton more power than the old 6.2 right? It is not an MPG motor, it's more powerful, and just better.

hahaha, you are definitely not a Ford tech, or any tech for that matter. Drop out of 9th grade from public school?

40 hp & 75 ft-lbs AT LOWER RPM is indeed shit town more power. Someone fail to explain torque curves to you?

Yes, putting you on the ignore list, you keep begging to be berated by being such a troll.

At least I know a stubby doesn't need to be calibrated

Those are intake/exhaust/tune gains on a 6.2. That's not a "shit ton" more power. Measuring things subjectively is fun isn't it? Objectively though less than 10% more power is not a "shit ton" or a **** load or their metric equivalents.

But please entertain us more with your common core math and made up units of measurement.

Less than 9% is not a shit ton (or shit town either) genius, no matter how many insults you use to try to make yourself sound more intelligent and your ******** more believable . But that seems to be a pattern with you.
