Ya I hide it inside the truck and use the code. When I'm far away I typically don't take the key out of the truck so I limit the chance of losing it.

A piece of velcro on a little key box or even on the key itself, and you can stash the key onto anywhere carpeted in the truck. (There is a small gap between the rear seat in a Screw and the cab wall, as an example)

Well now we know where you keep your spare key. Now just to find out where you keep your truck and try the millions of codes to get in your truck! lol

Ha! Have fun with that!! If you can start the truck, have at it.

Here's my truck (look close - that's the roof about 30 yards out):

Easy..

First go to the hardware store and have a key made. Yeah, I know it won't start the truck but it WILL get you in the door. Also handy to have one to give to your hunting buddy if he gets back to the truck ahead of you.

Remove one screw from the rear lic plate and put it in behind the plate. Not likely to be seen/damaged or found.

Hide a real key inside the cab.

Yes, good point. For all the Shelby events and raptor events, chances are 99% my key is in the vehicle. If they don't leave the vehicle, you don't lose them. That goes up to 100% on location events like TRR.

And no, im not worried. At an event where you have everyone's lives and property in your hands, and vice versa driving like a maniac, trusting them with my keys is a far less worry.
