Thanks. Problem is if the shift emblem is not translucent there is NO way light will shine through the plastic. I pulled it apart when I did my shifter and it is a big NO. Just a little common sense told me that but I had to see. Possibly some of the earlier 18 builds had the old emblem, I don't know.

There was discussion on that thread that first Ford pulled the illumination and then later they changed the emblem, however the guy whose post I linked says that he has the painted on emblem and shows a picture of it illuminating.

I've had a 13' and trading in my 17' next week - 19' just came in today so I have a good comparison - my trucks actually get beat hard and used on backroads / fireroads

I'll measure the fender the hub height on my 17' before trading it in vs. the 19'

Are any of you ‘19 owners having engine rattles on startup?

Now that it’s getting colder out my ‘17 is starting to sound like a can of bolts on startup again. Still cranks up and takes off like we’re late for an excessive acceleration ticket though.

Sounds like phasers...reports are getting frequent enough to concern me, not gonna lie
