Anyone from CA going to TRR16?

been playing with a new app called AirNest - let's me paint a route for the drone then ignore it. figured for the front section I could put it on a loop mode and just catch the trucks as they go around. should be pretty cool for a prosumer setup.

here's a real simple example I did around the house, the app controls height, speed, and panning of the camera which makes it super smooth.

That's a great thing to have. Now a few observations:

1. WTF do you do and what mafia family do you do it for?
2. Are they hiring? I'm not real big, but I think I could help somewhere!
3. Where's your Raptor in that video?

1. was the 300th employee at Microsoft - not because I am exceptionally bright or anything, just because I was in the right place at the right time. worked there for 22 years - paid for the house.
2. I'm sure they're hiring, but now it's just a great job, not a lottery ticket.
3. Raptor is in the garage - owned a Suburban when I built the house and my requirement was being able to fit my rig in the bay with room to walk around - makes for a very comfortable nest for the Raptor.

and to answer the final one - the property behind us is for sale, and there was some serious begging to my wife to let me have the 2 acre plot, as it's zoned farmland so no rules on what I could do with it - was thinking big barn and a small track. begging didn't work...
