Anybody else disappointed in the tail light brightness?

The tail lights have to meet all federal requirements and the requirements for each state that the truck is sold in, so states don't care about the lumens, some do. Since the same truck is sold is all 50 states, it has to meet the strictest requirements in order to have a single housing and light for all 50 states.

Why don't you get a light meter and measure the output to see if it is actually lower in the same wavelength? Maybe it was just a hazy night.

Yes - running change as Ford realized how bad they were and got many complaints.

QFT, same lights they've had since 2015 so would be surprised to see them do a mid year change vs waiting for 18s

So we'll see 17 Raptors with 18 tail lights what in 2-3 months?

I'm very dubious but would love to be proven wrong since my reorder is at least 1-2 months away

I've noticed it on 15+ models with the led tails after seeing people with the same complaint online.
