Math don't win races. But it can help analyze them. What percentage of winners ran big tires? Depending on your definition of big, that might not be 100%. If you're a real hair splitter. But what percentage of winners ran small tires? I'll bet zero.
Wtf do you think they use to put the engines together, calculate suspension and chassis geometry? Come on man!
Lay off the medical marijuana.

Winners of what?
You’re talking about purpose built race trucks. This is a production vehicle. To this date there have been zero Jeeps built with a 37 and they have done just fine without them. They only want to add them now to appease the soccer moms and dads. I get it …I have 37s now because they look better to me. That’s it.

I may have previously responded, but if I had a do over, I wish I got a 35. The 37 is just too big of a beast for me. Amazing how a much differ a couple of inches can make. I own a 2019 and 2021 and drive the 19 much more. Easier to park, it hand better at high freeway speeds and big enough for me. However, I rarely off road!
In a gen3 it’s not a big noticeable difference when driving them back to back. Maybe from the gen2 to a 37

Theory is great. Proving the theory correct takes testing in the real world. Remember how all the arguments about who's martial art was the best ended when MMA got popular?

Lay off the medical marijuana.

Blow me.

Winners of what?

Um ... off road races. What conversation were you having? Was it with us or with your imaginary friends?

That purpose built trucks run the biggest tires they can cram under the fenders shows that they're superior off road. Math or no math. They fúcking win. Rock crawling. Same same. Go to Moab and look at the built Jeeps. Lots of little tires? What car companies sell to consumers proves nothing. That's not even an argument.

Just an unbiased opinion being that Ive never driven a 37pp raptor …. But…having ran other rigs from 31-40” tires …

It seems the difference between the 35/37 raptor is pretty negligible. And what I mean is it seems you only give uo a second off 0-60 and 2 mpg. Given the advantage with tire size off road being bigger is ALWAYS better.

The great thing is that the raptor was built by engineers that know what they are doing. Its not some dicked up slap on lift kit. And the motor rips so it can handle the 37 unlike a lot of rigs I've been in that have required re-gear so they aren't a complete dog.

That being said if the speed, and mpg is of no concern 100% get a 37pack. I used to get 13-16 mpg anyway in rigs that were wayyyy slower with way less power. Its amazing how far we’ve come.

Here we go with purpose built race trucks again. The thread is about moving to 37” tires on a 3rd gen Ford Raptor. Maybe you should lay off the brownies too since your sight is clearly being affected.

“Biggest tire they can cram”
AND THE WINNER OF EVERYTHING AT ANYTIME ANYWHERE IS THIS GUY!!!

Fitting that the color theme is a nod to Starbucks 37 package.

I literally could not care less, I have no need to validate or explain my experience to you.

Bigger tires are helpful off road for a long list of reasons. Trophy trucks, trail rigs, dune runners, rock crawlers, they all see advantages with a bigger tire.

My raptor currently has 35s, and I’m fine with that, they work better for the way I currently use my truck, but I’m not in denial about which tire works better in which application. I have plenty of miles on raptors with 35s and 37s and we’re not talking a night and day difference either way.

Yes it is. And you argue that 37s are worse off road than 35s. On stock Raptors. Two possibilities. You're retárded. You're trolling. I'll be generous and assume you're retárded. :)

Maybe you should lay off the brownies too since your sight is clearly being affected.
You're getting tiresome. It's whacking off that has ruined my eyesight. Mom told me that would happen. I thought I could just do it until I needed glasses, but then I couldn't stop. Now compare my story to yours. And weep in your Mom's basement.

Fat Jay sounds mad. I think the brownie joke put him over the edge. I broke the golden rule of using his favorite food groups name in vain. Love you buddy …stay hungry.

Found this noted on a few sites coming from the mouths of Ford Engineers.

“In short, if you want to go fast off-road with precision, keep the 35-inch tires on the Ford Raptor. If you want to go slow off-road over obstacles, go for the 37-inch tires.”

I guess those Ford engineers don’t know what they’re talking about either.
