Hey guys,

First off, I DO NOT WANT TO TINT over the whole taillight. I find this stupid because it doesn't look great with a light tint (I don't want burple tail lights) and too much is illegal. Especially since I get rear ended on average once every 2 years by ****** Florida drivers while I'm at a complete stop. Not trying to open up the realm of it being my fault when it happens.

Now, I'm curious if anyone has experience with aftermarket black/smoked tail lights that work with BLIS? The only ones I've found are here: https://www.americantrucks.com/f150-black-smoked-light-bar-led-tail-lights-5085337.html Their customer photos are only standard F150s, no raptors.

I have a performance blue and am progressively shifting all of the grey trim to black (mostly Line-X), as well as have some black Fifteen52 traverses on the way. Being the only red on the truck I would love to get rid of it and just have blue/black.

Like you said, I wouldn’t make it any easier for dipsharts not to see your taillights, no matter how cool it looked.

Yea, this is why I’m looking at taillights. I’ve owned blacked out ones on cars and motorcycles before. They’re just as bright as stock, I just don’t want to cover my existing.

You do know that F150 and Raptor taillights are interchangeable right? So if it fits a F150 then it will fit a Raptor. Also it says:

Designed for All 2015-2020 Ford F-150 With BLIS Models

Yes. Guys I’m just asking if anyone has used the ones I posted or has found others that are similar for an all black or smoked look.

I would recommend a tailight with a clear lens and black/dark backing. The smoked lens no mater if film or color tinted plastic will never be as bright as a clear piece of plastic. They will also more closely match your headlights then too.

but as I am searching for you as well the only other option I find is this Recon lighting

That is the first time I've seen those backup lights turned vertically. I like it. Are those BJ? Did you have to modify the bracket?

Truck looks great with those lights. Is that leadfoot?
