My closest dealer is Parks in Wesley Chapel and they don’t seem like a high volume dealer. Never even seen an R on their floor.

I’m sure they won’t be discontinuing the R soon so eventually it’ll drop. Especially with all the left over 2024 still on the lots.

Never inquired about my Gen 2 but I’m sure it’ll be in the low $30k range trade in with my mileage.

I’ll never get the markup back since I keep my stuff for at least 3-4 years.
Wesley Chapel thinks $142k still flies, lol.

2024 new inventory is steadily dropping but used inventory is steadily increasing. Low mileage (<10k) selling less than $130k. One up in TN has just over 1k miles and has been sitting at $127k for weeks.

The tide is turning a little bit but don't say that on FB marketplace. Dealers and private sellers that paid $10k+ in markups will come at you with a vengeance.

Just gotta wait it out. If things keep going the way they are, I'd say $10k over will be high-end by the end of the year.

Yeah FB and IG will get you flamed because they are all greedy dealers and buyers flexing on each other, scared to take those big Ls.

Wesley Chapel acts like you won’t drive an hour to save $20k.

Glad the forum has level headed people.

Actually where I came to find my dealer for my Gen 2 at MSRP, built to order how I wanted it.

I bought a 24 R last fall for 5K over. In December my regular dealer told me I could order a 25 R for MSRP, it would be built mid to end of the summer. I have an extra car that I use for the airport so I decided to sell my truck (recouped all my money) and wait for the 25 R. Fast forward about three weeks ago I got rear ended in my airport car by a lady going 35 MPH. So now waiting until the summer wasn’t going to work. I spent two weeks trying to figure out what to buy. I had given up on another R at any normal price. But last Saturday a space white R showed up in my cars.com feed at a dealer about 225 miles away. I almost didn’t call figuring it would be a waste of time. But I did and they told me it was available at list. It’s their policy not to mark cars up. I offered a deposit and told them i’d drive down Monday to pay for it and pick it up. They told me my word was all they needed. Again, i’ve never done business with these people. I got there at noon and was back on the road home by 1245. Dealers like this are few and far between, I just got lucky.

So you’ve basically found one at $5k over and 2 at MSRP?

Have you thought about playing the lottery?

I’ve been searching for months here in Florida and nothing.

The first one at 5K over at least in Detroit seemed like market at the time. This summer they were sitting for 10K over. The 25 my dealer ordered may never get built, even with the allocation. But yes i'm still dumbfounded I found my truck on a cold call at list.
